As well as writing stories and translating, Patricia also likes to get out into the community and has experience in:

	English storytelling - using her own pictures and books. She can perform at schools, book shops, cafes, libraries or halls.
	English narration of CDs and DVDs
	English narration concerts in collaboration with musicians
	Presentations, lectures and workshops on various themes including: Using picture books in the classroom (for teachers of English) How to read picture books in English to children (for parents and teachers) Creative workshops using stories (for children)
	Special events for children (Christmas, Halloween, Easter, summer day camps etc.)

Examples of some of Patricia’s activities:

Narration concert using projected pictures and music at the All Japan High School Speech Contest held at the National Olympics Memorial Youth Center in Tokyo.

Translation of the Japanese picture book and narration on CD of the story of the space probe, Hayabusa.

Presentations for teachers on using picture books to teach English at the ETJ (English Teachers in Japan) and JALT (Japanese Association of Language Teachers) conferences 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
